Terms and Conditions

All participants are expected to contribute to the smooth running of the camp by helping with practical tasks such as meal preparation, keeping the site clean and tidy, chopping wood, fetching water etc. Should the event be cancelled your fee will be refunded in full but Manifest East will not undertake to compensate you beyond the cost of your booking. Nor will compensation be offered should changes be made to the advertised programme of events as this is likely to be beyond our control.

The camp begins at 7 pm on Friday 20th September . You may arrive on site any time after 3 pm.   Dinner will be provided between 7 -8 pm.

Camp ends on Wednesday 25th September and we vacate the site by 3 pm.

The site is located 15 miles west of Cambridge, not far from the junction between the A14 and M11. A joining letter with the site’s location, will be sent to you nearer the time. If you are travelling by public transport, the closest railway station is Royston. Lifts are available, at no extra charge, from the railway station by prior arrangement.

Please note that this is a ‘closed’ event. Please commit to the duration of the camp. Do not invite friends or relatives to visit you. Should you need to rendezvous with them over the course of the camp, please arrange to do so off-site. And dogs, with the exception of guide-dogs, are not permitted on site.

1. Manifest East will take reasonable care to prevent serious injury and to minimize accidents throughout the camp. Camp organisers cannot be held responsible for accidents or injury, however caused. This does not affect your statutory rights and the site is fully insured. Please notify us of any serious medical condition at the time of booking so we can pass this information on, in strict confidence, to our first aider.

2. You agree that you are fully aware that activities at Manifest East, even under the safest conditions possible, may be dangerous, and you hereby agree to accept full responsibility and assume all risks, including those caused by acts of God, of injury, death, and/or loss to his/her person and/or property knowingly and voluntarily.

3. You agree to obey any rules and regulations Manifest East puts into effect to minimize these risks.

4. Manifest East reserves the right to remove any participant from the camp, at our discretion, if the participant’s conduct is dangerous, abusive or inappropriate.

5. You agree not to take part in any activity at Manifest East that you know you are not physically or mentally capable of doing so.
